A few frames from a recent photoshoot of one of our rare native geckos – this one is a Lewis Pass Green Gecko (Naultinus tuberculatus); a real cutie licking his eyeball
I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph many of our New Zealand lizards, have a browse.
Great image Rob.
Love the animation.
The specific name “poecilochlorus” has been dropped & this species relegated into Naultinus tuberculatus.
I also do alot of photogarphy on New Zealand native lizards, I love seeing your images.
Thanks Philip. Hard to keep up with all the changes.
great shot ! Is this in fact a tuberculatus from the Lewis Pass region or a specimen from an further west area ?
Thanks
Flo
It should be tuberculatus.
